Health Psychologist
Anna is a health psychologist and therapist, committed to self-compassion as a foundation for emotional
wellbeing. Treating ourselves with kindness, recognising our shared humanity and approaching our experiences
with mindfulness, is a powerful and evidence-based pathway to healing. Anna is an expert in the self-compassion field. She is a Certified Teacher, Teacher Trainer and Mentor of Mindful Self-Compassion (MSC) (www.centerformsc.org). She is also part of the international teaching team of the Self-Compassion in
Psychotherapy training program (SCiP), teaching psychologists from around the world the foundations of self-compassion in therapeutic practice. Anna has a PhD in Health Psychology, contributing a
number of publications in the scientific literature demonstrating the positive mental and physical effects
of self-compassion. A previous fast-paced career in corporate public relations has given her particular
insight and interest in the area of burn-out and the effects of stress on wellbeing. Anna offers individual
private therapy, as well as being available for supervision
and professional development for self-compassion informed therapists.
